Shimmer Down Now

Real quick post as I need to be jetting off to get my kiddos. I bought these sequin track pants last night on a bit of a whim. My sister kept asking me where I'd wear them and I told her I planned to rock them at work with a black blazer. Too much? Perhaps, but I couldn't resist.

I do plan to wear them with the cuffs tucked under so they look more like these pants from Ella Moss:

 



I played around with the cuffs in the dressing room last night and they seem to stay put that way. I also had to size down so they seem to be running a big large. Would you wear these to the office or do you think they are strictly evening attire?

In Search of: Biker Buckled Sandals

See these shoes? They are the Givenchy Glitter Buckled Sandals and I became obsessed with these shoes after seeing them on Poppy Delevigne. They seemed to add the perfect amount of "oomph" to every outfit.

I'm still kicking myself for not purchasing them and instead deferring to my responsible self. And then of course I decided I couldn't live without them after all, only to be crushed to find they were sold out everywhere. I expanded my search to the black ones, as those were also pretty fabulous, with no luck:

 

So I was quite happy to find these sandals that seem very inspired by on Zara. Never mind that it is too cold and wet to wear them for many months yet. They can decorate my closet until the weather warms up again.

Of course, then I found a couple of other close alternatives. There are these, the Kelsi Dagger Gina, which do come in black as well as grey, though I prefer the pretty luggage color:

 

I also have this pair from Anthropologie on my wishlist. They're a little less biker, yet the gold glitter still make them quite tempting.
